Collaborative Projects

A weekly integrated arts project for young adults with learning

disabilities. The course included drama (Mary Carr and project

co-ordinator), film-making (Mark Money at August Media), music therapy & a related artistic collage work (Beki Betts)

Chapman, children’s book illustrator, (Macmillan) collaborated on performances, drama workshops and illustrative workshops at Rotherham library

A drama/documentary made with young people 14-16 yrs from a referral unit. Their own life situations formed a background to this film.

A documentary about a respite care house for young people with

disabilities. Made with the practical help from the young people

themselves.

Delivered by Mary Carr to KS3, 4 & 5 (who writes and performs plays acting all the characters herself in costume and who also offers related drama and creative writing workshops)
